This classic Dodge truck outside the Museum entrance serves to announce this special event.
This 2-story evergreen greets you in the main lobby.
 
Also, in the main lobby, is a display of several Chrysler concept cars, including this 1998 Chronos. (Excuse the poor quality of some of these photos, I'm still trying to figure out what I sometimes do wrong with this camera.) In better focus, is this 1941 Chrysler Newport concept car.
As you tour the Museum, you'll see special signs depicting how Holiday traditions have changed over the years.
 
This scene got me to thinking about how cars have progressed over the years, compared to how bicycles have progressed. If today, you drove down the street in this 1902 Rambler Runabout, you'd certainly be the center of attention. But if today, you rode down the street on that 100-yr-old bicycle, you'd probably go unnoticed, because many of today's bicycles still use that same basic design. This 1934 Chrysler Airflow is one of my favorite cars in the Museum. But it was ahead of its time, and it came out in the middle of the Depression, so it wasn't a big sales success.
