There was a building with a DJ and a dance floor, where this Radical custom Merc was roped off. I didn't see any explanation of why this car was being treated so specially. Anybody know the story behind this?
In this photo, this 1957 Plymouth Savoy, owned by Paul & Diana Mathes, of Hammond, IN., looks like your average mild custom.
 
But then, if you check out the interior, all you see is gold and chrome. Not your average interior! And when you check under the hood, -- total bling, bling!
I've always like the basic style of the late 40's GM fastback cars. This 1949 Buick Sedanette is especially appealing.
